When I think of what it is to be a mom, my perspective has changed. Now that I have a little one of my own, I see motherhood differently. I respect my own mom and the sacrifices she made so much more. I see the choices that my grandmothers made in a different light and am much more grateful for the time I spent with them.
I feel compelled to encourage the mamas around me – no matter how they began this journey called motherhood. The new mom, the homeschooling mom, the mom who has lost herself in her littles. The mom whose babies live in heaven or is walking through infertility. The mom who had to wait in lines, travel many miles, and hope and pray that nothing changed at the last minute in order to call her baby forever hers. The selfless mom who brings kiddos in to her home, loves them fiercely, and then must let them go back out into the world.
There are so many stories of so many strong women – those who raised us, those who are helping us raise our own children, and those who are both surviving and thriving around us.
These are the women I want to celebrate this Mother’s Day!
What about you? Who do you want to celebrate this Mother’s Day?
Share your own story with those around you, with your husband, with your small group. Then find someone else and listen to her story.
The Mother’s Day gift sets were born out of the desire to come alongside moms of all kinds and encourage them, to remind them that they are not alone. That they are seen – that YOU are seen.
These unique, handmade sets were curated just for Mamas and are available for a limited time – preorders close April 25th (and they ship out May 4th).
Each set includes a handmade farmhouse style wood sign (four options), a piece of jewelry (two options), and a hand crocheted flower.
Grab one for your own mom and one for the mama who’s been on your mind as you read this – you’ll brighten their day!
And there’s no shame in sharing this link with your husband either. 😉
