I LOVE this time of year! I don’t really love the getting really cold part, but I love the magic of the holiday season. I love Christmas, but I hate it when Thanksgiving gets the short end of the stick! We have to focus on what we are thankful for, otherwise we hurdle into the Christmas season with “want-want-want” on our brains.
End rant…
ANYWAY… I have actually hosted Thanksgiving for my family a couple of times – first in a tiny studio apartment, then in our current two bedroom. I’ve gotten to get creative with decorating and it’s something I’ve always loved to do. When I was younger, my mom would always let me decorate our table for special dinners and it was always something really fun for me.
Now that we have Pinterest, there are ideas everywhere. So, I put together some of my favorite ideas for you!
I actually made something similar to this DIY Burlap Table Runner for Thanksgiving last year!
Don’t you just love the simple beauty of all these materials! I love the idea of using leaves as place markers.
Don’t forget the kid’s table! Here’s a great printable placemat to add to their table to make dinner more fun!
I love how this awesome and easy this Kraft Paper Table Runner is! Could be fun at the kid’s table, too – Let THEM decorate it!
I love everything about this outdoor table! Someday I want to host a meal in my outdoor space… someday!
Who doesn’t love free Printables?! These from The TomKat Studio are gorgeous!
I’ve been gold glittering all the things lately, so when I saw these adorable glittered pumpkins I got excited!
How cute are these little DIY rosmary sprig place cards from Spoon Fork Bacon?!
I love the warm, cozy feel these lanterns bring to this whole space!
I’m a sucker for anything involving chalkboard paint, so these caught my attention! Chargers like this are usually so expensive, so I love the idea of doing it yourself!
